Meet Heather
Mountain Wren was born from a lifelong love of nature,animals and the quiet beauty of the seasonal flowers.
For more than 25 years I've worked as a veterinary technician, caring for animals and living things has always been at the heart of who I am. The name Mountain Wren honors my parents' love of birds. The wren itself - a small bird with a surprisingly big voice reminds us that even small things can carry great beauty and presence.
The landscapes of the American West sparked my passion for foraging unique foliage and texture, bringing a natural gathered feel to my floral creations. Each piece is designed to celebrate the beauty of seasonal flowers , honoring both the blooms themselves and the life they reflect.
Our Mission
At Mountain Wren Floral Design, I celebrate the art of floristry through a mindful, eco-conscious approach. My vision is to create stunning floral arrangements while prioritizing sustainability. I grow my own flowers without harmful chemicals, support local flower farms, and minimize waste by using foam-free designs and reusable materials. By collaborating with like-minded flower farmers and designers, I seek innovative ways to reduce our environmental impact and educate others on the importance of sourcing flowers locally. Supporting local growers not only strengthens our community but also helps sustain essential pollinators like bees, butterflies, and birds.
